Finding seaPro Version and Security/Dongle numbers
- Security/dongle number:
- On your dongle: The security number will be displayed on your dongle. If it has rubbed off-
- Within seaPro: before pressing 'Accept', the security number will be displayed at the top left of the disclaimer screen.
- On your unlock code for charts or updates.
- Security/dongle version:
- Within seaPro: before pressing 'Accept', the security number will be displayed at the top of the disclaimer next to the security/dongle number. E.g '10, 11, 12 etc'.
- seaPro version:
- On the download of your latest seaPro upgrade or purchase/sales reciept ort invoice
- Within seaPro: From the Help menu in seaPro, click 'About' and see 'seaPro Version'
- How seaPro and sercutiry numbers relate:
- Upgrading to a new seaPro version number requires an unlock code to upgrade your dongle version.
- The dongle determines which version of seaPro will work:
- 10 and above relates to the software version 10.x, 11.x 12.x etc.
- 2.6: seaPro version 8 and version 9 (12/2011 onwards)
- 2.5: seaPro version 8 to 8.4 (01/2011 to 11/2011)
- 2.4: seaPro version 7 (12/2009 to 01/2011
- 1.9: seaPro version 6 (01/2006 to 12/2009)
- <1.9: Pre-seaPro 3000 version 6, ie 3, 4, 5.
