#Summary
Can't install updates or program, getting an error such as "failed to launch"
Note:if you are getting other errors such as Microsoft runtime errors when trying to launch a program rather than during install, check the following tech supports notes:

This mostly likely a problem with the configuration/security on the machine or a corrupted download file
Try the following:
1. Check you have installed all the latest updates for your operating system - including all service packs.
2. Make sure the download file is in a suitable location, such as the downloads folder and not on the desktop etc.
3. You are running as administrator account (Control panel ->User Accounts) (Windows 7/Vista)
4. Try launching the seaPro installer by right clicking on the file and then select run as administrator
5. Try reducing the User Access Control (this can impose conditions that block program installs)

6. Check anti-virus or other program is not preventing the program running
7. Download the update again in case it was corrupted during the download.
