#Summary
How to fix
Number of possible reasons:
1. There is a problem with the physical USB port on the PC – try inserting the dongle into a different USB socket/ Installing on to a different computer
2. The driver has failed to install or has installed incorrectly – this can occur if you don’t have full administrative rights on the computer or have the UAC (User Access Control) set high enough to prevent installation.
To check and clear (with dongle inserted)
Got to the device manager (Control panel ->System and then select Device manager)
Uninstall/Delete any items that are marked in yellow with a question mark (bad or incorrectly installed drivers)
(right click on item and click Uninstall)
Under Universal Serial bus controllers delete any entries for HASP or USB key (not USB hub)
For above, if possible take the option to delete remove the drivers if offered
Remove the dongle
Download the dongle driver from our web site
http://www.euronav.co.uk/Downloads/Hasp/Haspdriver.htm
Once downloaded run the installer.
Note: Depending on your UAC settings you may want to run this by right clicking on the installer and selecting ‘Run as administrator’
