Upgrading to Windows XP

Security dongle not detected

#Solution  

For dongle versions 1.5 or above only. Please heed the warnings.

Only dongles version 1.5 and above are supported for Windows XP.
If you have a version less than 1.5 please call sales to purchase an update.

WARNING:
If you have upgraded your computer to XP (i.e. it was not originally supplied with XP) - it may not have the correct printer drivers/BIOS. Installing XP on these machines may cause serious problems including damage to your dongle and other peripherals using the printer port. You are advised to check with your computer supplier. The older the computer greater the greater the risk - a simple solution is to upgrade to a USB dongle.


How to check your version number

if you have the correct dongle your distribution CD will have an XP compatible version on it.
However you may need the latest security drivers
