#Summary

The tidal arrows or tidal curves are not showing or no tidal curve ports are available

#Problem

PC clock date is wrong.
seaPro’s tidal atlas almanac data has expired.
There are no tidal arrows for the area.

#Solution

PC clock date is wrong.

  1. Check that your PC clock has been set to the correct year.
  2. Re-start seaPro if it has been changed.

seaPro’s tidal atlas has expired.

  1. Go to the Euronav website and download the latest tidal almanac data.  This is updated annually and released late December each year.
    http://www.euronav.co.uk/Downloads/tides/downloadtidal.htm
  2. Run the installer (exe) file supplied for the update follow the instructions.
  3. Open seaPro and select “Tidal Atlas Properties” from the “Tides” menu.

Note:
Tidal almanac data is not available for older versions such as seaPro 2000 - please contact your supplier to purchase an upgrade to latest version.
Tidal almanac data is not the same as the tidal harmonics, which is used to to calculated tidal heights, these are purchased as a seperate database.

There are no tidal arrows for the area.

seaPro is supplied with tidal data for North West Europe. If your cruising area falls outside this, then you
can enter your own tidal data. See Help in seaPro for adding tidal diamonds.

There are no or few Tidal height ports showing
You need to purchase/Install the Worldwide Tidal Curve database.
