Boat is always pointing pointing North or wrong direction

Lite and above
Check that you are using the correct NMEA sentence.
Lite select menu option GPS->Setup
seaPro Setup->Nav Properties

Under the Other section COG/SOG select RMC+VTG (this will use either sentence)

If this doesn't work, try one of nth other options in case there is a fault in one of the sentences.
The default is RMC + VTG

seaPro standard and above
You can orientate the boat as using the COG, true Heading or from magnetic sentences. Ensure you are using the correct one.

Menu Setup->Nav properties then Display tab.
Bottom right select the required source for heading information

Also check boar shape is switched on (left part of dialog box)

Note:
If using COG, boat shape may disapear at low speeds due to lack of reliable heading information from GPS
This can be set in the above seaPro menu option.
