#TN026

 #Summary

I have purchased a new computer and it does not have a  parallel printer port
what do I do about my dongle

 #Problem

Some new computers do not have a printer parallel port. You will need to upgrade to
a USB security device dongle. Using a USB printer adaptor is not always successful.

#Solution

If your computer has an optional  a printer adaptor this may work, but test this before
    purchasing the adaptor.
Euronav can upgrade your parallel printer port dongle to a USB dongle. There is a charge for this,
    please contact your supplier.

In the unlikely event that the computer has neither a parallel printer port nor a USB, you can
upgrade to a  PCMCIA dongle. Note: This is a relative expensive upgrade and your computer must
support 32bit card bus but does has the advantage of hiding the security device inside the computer.

Note Option 2 is usually the preferred option
