 #Summary

I have some unlock codes but I’m not sure what I should do with them?

 #Solution.

To unlock charts or new software features using an UNLOCK CODE insert the “seaPro2000” CD, which on most computers will auto run, if this happens you should just exit the presentation and return to your desktop.

  1. Start seaPro/lite, and select the menu option “Chart”.
  1. From this menu select “install chart…” You should then choose to install “Livecharts” and click “NEXT”
  1. This will then start the Euronav Unlock program.  You will find 5 boxes to enter your unlock code into.  You should enter no more than 4 characters in the first 4 boxes. The fifth   box is only used if you are installing charts or chart packs. Enter in here the code of the pack or chart e.g. ba2045

The codes are not case sensitive, the most likely mistake is to miss type the characters,, the codes are also given in the phonetic alphabet to avoid confusion.

 EXAMPLES

Adding a seaPro feature:-   12a3     bc45     6d7e     89f0

Adding a chart:-                  12a3     bc45     6d7e     89f0       ba2045

Adding a chart pack:-          12a3     bc45    6d7e      89f0       1aa

  1. Press the “Unlock” button.
  1. Wait for the unlock complete message, and when the “Close” button becomes active again, either add any other codes or close the unlock program.
  1. If you have added new charts you will need to re-build your chart folio next time you use seaPro. The new charts  will be automatically detected on later versions of the product

 Notes:-

  1. Do not try and use a later version of the  CD to that issued with the unlock codes.
  2.  To avoid confusion there are no O’s just zero’s, and there are no l’s or i’s just ones. With the exception of  the fifth, “chart name”, window which  may have both O’s and zeros.

IMPORTANT you must keep the codes safe as well as the CDROM, these cannot be re-issued and you can’t re-install the chart without them. You can make back up copy of  the charts, and these can be simply copies back if the orignal installation is damaged (or to another machine).
