Note 1:
Vista 64 bit is currently not recommended due to the requirement for signed 64 bit drivers.
Many peripherals such as USB/serial converters, bluetooth ports etc., do not have suitable 64 bit drivers.
Vista 32 bit is the operating system normally supplied with new computers and is fine for most uses. Little benefit is to be gained in using Vista 64 bit unless you have a true 64 bit application. The term 'Vista' - usually implies Vista 32 bit.
A signed 32/64 bit dongle driver is available for seaPro
Note 2: The minimum level depends
on your operating system requirements.
if your computer is suitable for the specified operating system then it should be fine with seaPro.
Most medium range modern computer\laptops will meet the specifications
for all of the above
Note:4 Most laptops don't have a serial port or printer port - order
the USB dongle option and add a USB/serial converter if GPS input required.
*Whichever operating system is being used, its presumed that the latest service packs have been applied plus any other appropriate updates/patches (for XP this means SP2 and for Vista SP1).
