ENC's are sold as cells, that cover a defined area, 3 sizes of cell are available Small, Medium and Large. The coverage at mid-2001 is not extensive but is growing all the time

You purchase the initial chart, and then purchase an update contact for the chart(s)

The Weekly update runs for one year and includes any new editions, re-issues/updates (Notice to Mariners). The data is shipped as a base CD-ROM with weekly updates CD-ROMs that are sent to your notified delivery address.

Currently Primar operates a policy of no minimum charge and no quantity or multiple vessel discount, they may change this in the near future.. The above prices are fixed against the $ but are held valid for 1 month

Includes ENC with 12 months subscription on weekly updates and new editions.

ENCs can also be purchased for a six-month subscription period. The recommended retail prices are then 50 % less than the 12 months subscription (1/2 the price).

Cell sizes
Large Cell: ENC more than 60% of a paper chart equivalent

Medium Cell: ENC between 30% and 60% of a paper chart equivalent

Small Cell: ENC less than 30% of a paper chart equivalent
