seaPro provides affordable performance to B&G Hydra & H1000 systems

Euronav have released a new version of their Performance Sailing software that enables performance data to be displayed on B&G Hydra and H1000 systems.

Previously, performance data has only been available to top racing yachts with a budget to match, but racer-cruisers and cruiser-racers who want to optimise the performance of their yachts need a more cost effective solution.

seaPro Performance Sailing enables users to enter existing polar data or to automatically collect data to make their own custom polars. seaPro calculates target boat speed, performance percentage and other data such as time and distance to layline and then outputs this data to B&G instruments so it can be displayed on deck.

In addition, seaPro Performance Sailing provides a host of visual tools including true wind direction, tacking angles and laylines as well as race planning and enhanced weather routing.

Existing B&G users can upgrade their software to utilise performance data from seaPro and customers with non B&G instruments can add a FFD/ 20/20 or H1000 display to get similar functionality.
